Welcome to Hill and Dale Child Development Center

At Hill and Dale, we strive to provide a safe, loving, caring, healthy, and positive environment with maximum opportunity for children to reach their full potential in all areas of development. Children will learn socialization through spiritual guidance, be presented the opportunity for emotional and physical growth, and be encouraged in the areas of language, creativity, and cognitive skills. Children are accepted for their uniqueness and individuality. 

At Hill and Dale, we take pride in our curriculum and are excited to announce the new program we have in place. We are using a research-based curriculum that is 100% digital and devotes primarily to the development of the whole child.  The curriculum is called Learning Beyond Paper through the ProCare system we already have.  It is structured to include STEAM and encourages a hands-on learning experience. Learning Beyond Paper provides children with the skills they need to thrive in today's world, incluing collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking and problem solving. This curriculum is researched based and developed by teachers, trainers and directors who know firsthand how kids learn best. It follows Nevada state standards and provides breakdowns on the objectives for each day. 

Our teachers are highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child. They are passionate about early childhood education and are committed to helping your child reach their full potential. 

During the formation of Community Lutheran Church, a group of concerned mothers worked hard to establish a child care center in the church facilities. On February 3, 1975, Hill and Dale was opened to serve the residents of Paradise Valley and the Las Vegas area as well as to make use of the church building during the week. In February of 1977, the infant building was opened, expanding the services of Hill and Dale to 11 classrooms serving birth through pre-k. Hill and Dale is a DBA of Community Lutheran Church which is a 503(C) B non-profit. 

Enrollment at Hill and Dale Las Vegas Early Learning Center is open to children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, check out our enrollment page.

We believe that parents are important partners in their child's education. We provide resources and support to help parents stay involved and informed about their child's progress. If a child is over 2.5 years old and is at the center for at least 12 waking hours each week, we can invite parents to access their child's progress over the internet.
